Today, I was extremely happy while gathering with friends to mark the end of Norooz celebration. A memory from the past suddenly resurfaced, reminding me of how I was saved from the perils that would have led me to perish. In that moment, I felt a profound sense of enlightenment and after so many years, I remembered these words:
“Surely, We had shown you favor before. We saved you from sorrow, as well as other tests We put you through.”
The hand that protects me and watches over me has not given up on me yet.
